Supply chain transparency should be the default, not the exception.

We're building the infrastructure to make that possible for every brand, not just the ones with the budget to afford it.

Why this exists

Every brand should be able to prove what's in their products. And every person should be able to verify it instantly. That should be a baseline, not a premium feature.

Right now it isn't. Certifications take weeks, cost thousands, and tell consumers almost nothing about how decisions were made. The process is slow, expensive, and opaque by design. Enterprise tools exist, but they're priced for enterprises. Most small brands don't bother, not because they don't care, but because the barrier is too high.

Accessibility to certification is inseparable from actually making progress. If the barrier is too high, most brands won't bother.

retraceable. is built to change that. We started with vegan certification because it's concrete, verifiable, and genuinely matters to a growing number of people. But the underlying problem is the same across every supply chain claim: there is no simple, affordable, trustworthy way for a small brand to prove what it's saying is true.

We're building the infrastructure that makes that possible. A complete ingredient database. An automated verification workflow any brand can use in minutes. A public transparency ledger that puts the proof directly in the hands of consumers, not behind a PDF buried on a certification body's website.

What we're focused on

Our primary focus is reducing animal-derived ingredients in everyday products. Vegan certification is part of that. It should be simple, fast, and affordable for any brand, not a months-long process gated behind expensive fees.

We are not activists. We are not here to lecture brands or consumers. We are here to lower the cost of doing the right thing, and to make it so easy that there's no excuse not to.

Every brand that uses retraceable. to verify their products adds to a public record of verified claims. Every consumer who checks a verification report holds a brand accountable in a concrete way. That's the feedback loop we're trying to create.

Where we're going

Vegan certification is the starting point. The long-term goal is a complete, open supply chain transparency platform, covering environmental claims, labour practices, and material sourcing alongside ingredient data.

The world's largest ingredient database, freely searchable and publicly verifiable. Automated workflows for supplier documentation and certification. A public ledger of brand claims that anyone can verify in seconds.

That's what we're building.
